Dashboard - Maintenance

Note: The information here is 'advanced'. You should seek guidance from us here if you wish to make changes or are seeking further information.

On the Maintenance page you can add scripts, called Jobs, to be run at a specific time and date through cronjobs. In the image below the jobs are not running.

When the script is running there will be a JavaScript "progress" animation visible. This is handled by Concrete5. When the script has successfully run a green icon will be visible.

When something has gone wrong while running the script there will be a yellow icon visible for the Job that has returned the error and in the "Results of Last Run" column an error message will appear.

By pressing remove you can remove jobs from Concrete5. The script will be visible on the page as a "Not installed job" which can be installed at any time by clicking on the name. To remove the job entirely you have to remove the job file from the jobs directory in your installation.

By using the link at the bottom of the page the scripts can be put in a schedule system like the cronjobs. Then the server will run those (selected) scripts at a specific time and day.
